About

My mom used to say that I should become an Interior Designer, and I couldn't stand her because she was always right. Until one day, I realized that it wasn't only her dream; it was my dream as well!I began my career at the London Institute of Arts with a degree in Interior Design. Later, I proceeded with studies at Vilnius Design College, but unfortunately, she passed away before she could see me make her dream come true. I gave up for a while. Neither the level of education satisfied my curious mind, nor did I have the reason to continue my long enough voyage. My third and last diploma at Masha Black School in St. Petersburg gave me exactly what I needed to kick off my career in creating interiors as a professional. Thanks to my determination, dedication, and devotion, I have accumulated great experience in creating wonderful interiors, cooperating with worldwide brands while simultaneously participating with builders at worksites. From Minimalist dark to Modern Classic, together with hints of Bauhaus, I am greatly honored to guide you to your dream interior.

Thank You for choosing me!
Yours, Athena

Black Accents

Strategically incorporated through sleek window frames or trim, modern minimalist light fixtures, accent furniture, framed art and mirrors, and metal hardware on doors and furniture, providing grounding and visual interest.

Concept

Cocooning dark interior, offering sanctuary from digital stimulation and a fast-paced life.

Goal

To create spaces that evoke primal comfort, security, and tranquility through deep, enveloping design.

Key Elements

Deep, saturated hues (charcoal grays, rich blacks) that allow spaces to recede and foster inward focus, creating intimate enclosure rather than claustrophobia; the strategic use of light to enhance the sense of intimacy and calm.

Flooring

Natural materials like dark wood with a soft finish paired with substantial rugs.

Walls

Monochromatic palette where walls share similar tones with ceilings and furnishings to blur boundaries and create an illusion of infinite space; textured wall treatments like heavily textured clay add a tactile dimension and absorb sound, further enhancing the sense of enclosure.

Furniture

Layering soft, tactile furnishings is crucial; Oversized, deeply cushioned sofas and armchairs upholstered in luxurious material like faux fur; Plenty of soft throws and pillows to encourage sinking in and relaxation. Heavy furniture that provides substantial and grounding feeling, contributing to the overall feeling of security. Rounded forms and NO sharp edges are used to enhance the sense of softness and embrace.
